In addition, she serves as a Consultant for the Healthcare Experience Foundation where she coaches executives, leaders and staff in leadership development, teambuilding and communication skills. Some of her favorite workshops and talks are: Communication Styles, How to Have That Difficult Conversation, Leading Strengths and one of her favorites – How to Thrive and Not Just Survive In Leadership. Kathy is preparing to launch her own organization: B-Intentional. She is a firm believer that in this day and time everyone needs to be intentional in how they live, lead and love. Why? Life is not like the movies – there is no re-take of a moment.
B- Intentional will focus on coaching and facilitating learning sessions to assist individuals in discovering their strengths in the workplace. When an individual discovers their strengths they can be aware of what excites them to work. They realize that no one is meant to be great at everything. Everyone has something to contribute. People need each other. Learning to let go of being the smartest person in the room, at home and in your mind is key to living a more intentional and collaborative life.
Kathy is also the author of a unique devotional journal entitled PassageWalk™; a 33-day walking program that incorporates walking and Bible study. She is also the creator of a fitness program called UAGO. UAGO is a fusion of bible study, music and movement.
She is a member of Church of the Highlands. She is currently a member of the 2018 Momentum Leadership class, member of the Leadership Speaker’s Bureau for United Way of Central Alabama, member Railroad Park Board of Directors, member of the Junior League of Birmingham, two-time recipient of the Crawford T. Johnson Loaned Executive of the year, member of the 2013 Leadership Birmingham class and past Board Chair, Vice President, and Secretary for the Ed Foundation. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She is married to Chip Boswell. They have two children Kathryn a graduate of Spain Park High School and Parker a soon to be 2019 graduate of Spain Park High School .
Her motto is: Live to be an intentional blessing to others everyday.
